Message	After almost six months of working with Quaife, and selling pre-production units we have enough orders to meet the minimum initial order. The first 15 units will be sold almost at cost and there are only a few left, so if you want one, now is the time to place your position order. The Quaife units us a floating helical gear and pinion to provide quiet, smooth torque bias under all conditions. Technical info: The floating helical gear pinions mesh for normal speed differential action. Wheel slip causes axial/radial thrusts of the pinions in the pockets, creating torque bias. The resultant friction force enables the driving road wheel and sun gear to transmit a greater proportion of the torque. This effect is progressive: at no stage does the differential lock solid, hence the inherent safety of the Quaife ATB LSD. The latest competition development of this diff uses pressure pads on the ends of the pinions, allowing variable amounts of slip according to driver preference.
