1996 Nissan 300ZX Slicktop Coupe 58,780 Original Miles Mint ConditionThis car has several unique features: 1) This car is known as a “slicktop” which means that it has no t-tops. The result is a lighter-weight car with a stiffer chassis and much cleaner look. 2) This is, as identified by the badge inside the car, #171 of the last 300 Nissan Z’s to be shipped out of Japan in 1996. They continued to make the 300ZX for the Japanese market until 1999 but none made their way to the States or were built with left-hand drive. 3) It has low miles. 58,780 miles on a car that is nearly 10 years old is quite remarkable. It has had all its maintenance done and the 60k service was performed last year at 54,000. It has been exceptionally maintained, including: a. 60K Service (done last year at 54,000) b. New Nissan Clutch (done this year at 57,307) c. Wagner Thermo-Quiet Brake Pads (done last year) d. NGK Platinum Spark Plugs (done with 60K) e. New Shifter Bushings (done last year. These wear down on all manual cars and result in a “wobbly” shifter, even when it’s engaged in gear) f. Energy Suspension Front Sway bar bushings (not installed, will ship with car) g. Enegery Suspension Steering Rack Bushings (installed last year) It comes with several tasteful modifications which include: h. KYB AGX adjustable struts i. Unorthodox Racing Lightweight Underdrive Pulley j. Brembo front drilled rotors k. 300 Degree Master Brake Cylinder Brace l. JWT Pop charger m. Chrome intake piping (not installed, will be shipped with car) n. Nismo Clear Turn Signal Lamps (will ship stock ones also) o. Bridgestone Potenza RE750 245/45 Tires (~4,000 miles on them) p. 15% Limo Black Window Tint with a 6” front brow 4) This car has a new paint job (applied at the dealership where I purchased the car, apparently it had been keyed). There are no major dints and the paint is in excellent condition. I took the car to the dealership to have the timing adjusted and was told that it had been advanced slightly by the computer due to corrosion on the knock sensor connector. To clean this connecter, both the upper and lower manifolds must be removed. He gave me an estimate of ~$700. I will knock this price off of whatever the final price is. Again, the timing has been readjusted and the car runs perfectly, it is not even guaranteed that the timing may get off again, it is just speculation. As you can see, this is an exceptionally well-taken care of car that has many fun miles left in it. I hate to sell it but college is taking its toll on my wallet and sometimes, good things must come to an end. $11,000 FIRM. Check my ebay auction, the title is similar to the one here. Auction ends Sunday at 1:20pm
