The chosen engine component for this monster VG30 were as follows: Escort Racing 8.3:1 93mm Pistons, Howard Custom Aluminum Forged Rods, Escort High Lift 264d Camshaft, Escort Balance/Knifed Crank, etc. The point being if you are serious about an indestructable VG30 rebuild you might have to consider the best for less on conrods. -Howard Custom Aluminum Forged Rods have been in all record breaking drag car in the U.S. and drift cars in Japan, e.g., 300Z has been a winner in both.
