Message Dallas area 94 to 96 car, 5 speed is a big +, Turbo or 2+2 is ideal

PAIN IN THE BUTT criteria I am looking for.

MUST be in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area : within 70 miles of zip code 76102
Or you are willing to drive vehicle to 70 miles of 76102

Open to all exterior colors except Azure blue, prefer anything OTHER than black or white unless it is pearl white. Cherry Red or Burgundy is ideal if the paint is not faded.

MUST have grey or black interior (no brown interiors NO exceptions on this one)

5 speed manuals highly preferred,
* * * automatics will take an unfortunate instant $2,000 hit because that transmission bores me and only absolute MINT MINT MINT if a 2+0 NA. * * *

Vehicle MUST show only Texas history in CarFax from its birthday to current title.
Must be willing to accept Edmunds True Market Value PRIVATE PARTY for vehicle:
Plus bonus 10 percent for 94’s
................ 20 ............... 95’s
................ 30 ............... 96’s

:::::Plus Additional 15 percent for Turbo version::::

These above rates are for 94’s with under 70,000 miles
.......................................95’s ..................60,000
.......................................96’s .................. 50,000

Each mile above these will reduce my perceived value by 10 cents a mile. Each mile BELOW will of course raise the value 10 cents per mile.

I think the math should be fairly simple to do as most people on here are quite the smart lot of members. These calculated figures are the absolute tops I will pay for a Z and is a fair price for a well taken care of Z once the mileage is figured in.

Your Z must be in damn nice condition or the math computations will clearly change. If the car needs an instant $3,000 in work just to be somewhat up to speed then I reduce its value. I know its being harsh but money “aint” free people.

Recent timing belt/ idler pulley changes with a dealer receipt or an engine stamp is a plus.
Members with a Stage V forum ranking or above are also a plus as these people obviously have a clue.

*** REBUILT OR HEAVILY MODDED (anything over stage 4 qualifies here) ENGINES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
Upgraded suspension, brakes, and the like is just fine. ***

Your car must be able to pass emissions test and the registration should be current.

This ad is here to weed out most cars that are not worth the risk to me. If your Z situation is quite unusual such as Mint with zero accidents and perfect condition but an automatic or runs sweet but is keyed down the side, etc ,etc. or you are willing to work off something quite lower than Edmunds True Value PRIVATE PARTY I would consider any offer. Even a 90 to 93 is possible but the miles are usually too high and risky. Let me know I suppose and who knows.

A car absolutely must be within the stated 70 miles from 76102. Does me no good to just guess the condition of course.

I am mainly looking for Z's that need no work and are fairly priced to move. I have been driving Z's since 1985 so I can tell which ones are bad and which are good to go. This is not the place to get rid of a car that will be a money pit and I should be in luck since this is a Z aficionado community. That being said, if the Z is the love of your life and you need crazy money then it’s a deal breaker.

If you need or want to sell your Z at these fair prices to a very good home and warm garage then we can certainly do business.

* * * DISCLAIMER * * *
For any haters out there, these are the values I will consider, your car may very easily be worth substantially more and I am in no way placing a market value on your show car, track car, or whatever other manner of well respected Z ownership you have.

If I had $35,000 or more burning a hole in my pocket I would no doubt buy NeuroZurgeons 96 turbo. I don’t have those resources and so here I am with my list above.

Thanks for looking at my rather (well, very) bewildering wanted ad. : )

I prefer billriddel@hotmail.com or the bill_riddel_3@hotmail.com
I check there at least once every 36 hours. )
