I have the Z1 front-mount intercooler up for sale. This intercooler features enormous cores as well as a non-crossflowing design that other FMICs suffer from. This design will maintain the proper "cross-over" of the airflow from the turbochargers to maintain airflow balance between the two cylinder banks.
Core measures 13.5"W X 8"H X 4.5"D - 880CFM per core @1psi pressure drop and there are two of these in the FMIC - minimal pressure drop with the VG's CFM rating and huge core inlet face area. The endtanks are complimented with 2.5" inlets and outlets for massive airflow capacity.
I have mounted the FMIC and built custom brackets for mounting this into the Z32 which will be included with the FMIC when shipped. This FMIC will require the use of a narrower radiator as well as the fabrication of the intake piping in order to install. A different AC condenser will need to be used in order to maintain AC. I will be happy to point you in the right direction on where to acquire the mandrel bent piping as well as pictures of how this has been installed before.
This same intercooler design was used both with the Peacemaker (811RWHP w/o nitrous) as well as Russell Floyd's 1051RWHP widebody convertible. The cores are manufactured by Bell Intercoolers.
I am selling the FMIC, NEW, with mounting brackets for $750 plus shipping. This intercooler was around $1100 when I purchased it. I have manufactured my own sidemount intercoolers and no longer have a need for this unit. It is in perfect condition and never been used on a vehicle.
