Powder Coating: Is an electro-static charged powder that is applied with a special-gun, Then oven-cured for an amazing finish. Several times thicker then regular paint (4 to 5 mils), can withstand all weather elements, and harsh engine temps, resists chipping, popping,fading,scratching, dulling, and abuse. Restore your Z or add some color. Our Powdercoating Process begins with a stripping proccess. Either chemical stripping or abrasive glass beading. Then every(thread) or opening is plugged or masked with high temp non-fiberglass tape. The parts and then ran through a 5 STAGE Wash/Rinse pre coat for better life span( less likely to fail) and adhesion of powder. Then the part is brought up to pre heating temp to rid of gas pockets in metal, Then "painted" with our high tech Nordson "Sure Shot" Guns which ensure a uniform finish. The part is then ran through at a temp of 400~425degree to get full curing for a worry free finish. We only use high quality powders such as:
Dupont,PPG, Sherwin Williams, H.B. Fuller, Tiger-Drylac. We powder coat parts for Cutler-Hammer, Bunn-O-Matic,Caterpillar,Hydro-Gear,Cozhiar Harley Davidson, M&J Trucks and many others out there.
