I have bought my first Apexi AVC-R 5 years ago and have always been happy with it but my dash unit screen has refused to light-up few weeks ago so i have it checked by an electronic technician. He told me that problem was on the screen so i have bought another complete unit new. The new dash unit was plugged to my existing harness but the scren hasn't light-up either. The problem was found to be caused by a harness connector wire that was disconnected in the engine bay connector going to the boost controller solenoil. It should be a safety device to close the dash unit when there is a connection problem in order to protect the engine when a connection is defective. I should now sell the new AVC-R that was never used except it has helped me to find out the problem that i had with my old one. The warranty is provided by Apexi so it will be valid for one year.
