Message i am selling this car for my sister, she doesnt need 2 cars (shes giving up the z versus the bug, not my choice but whatever). This car has been meticulously taken care of by its previous owners. my sister kept it spotless and probably never boosted it over 5 psi. Okay heres the story:

One of my friends purchased the car from a mechanic over at the ZClinic in Austin. when he bought it (back in 2001 i think)(paid $12,500 for it) it recently had a paintjob(original color) by PPG (very nice paint job) with all new molding (door, window trim, etc) so everything was removed for the paint job, the car looks magnificant. also the mechanic replaced the steering rack(leaking), ALL PS hoses, shift boot, shift knob, put some cerwin vega speakers in it (sounds great) and did misc. other things.

my sister then started dating my friend and to make a long story short, she bought the car from him(paid $10,000 @155k) after they broke up because she liked it. here are details relating to each subject on the car:

BODY: see above(looks great!). dents are shown in the pics. i took specific photos of the dents, other wise there are none on the car. car is in amazing shape. i havent found a lick of rust on it even from working on it pulling the motor and other misc things ive done to it. even under the battery and the master cylinders where most rust forms.

INTERIOR: mods include autometer boost/afr guage and turbo timer that recently quit working dont know why. interior is a 9 out of 10. seat has small rip but she kept the inside up great.

SUSPENSION: intrax lowering springs, stock shocks (still feel pretty good). factory chrome wheels with pretty good tires. the chrome is in excellent shape.

ENGINE: now the car has 175K on the body but about 3 months after we bought the car the engine had low compression. the stock motor lasted 165k, shows how taken care of it was. since i work on z's all the time and have rebuild several motors, i bought a JDM motor that had 25k on it and swapped it in. but at the same time i sent both turbos to majestic in Waco to get rebuilt. they said one was good and didnt need rebuilding and had a lot of life left but the other should be rebuilt, so i did that. the passenger side one is rebult. i also deleted throttle body coolant lines, and did the normal rerouting of everything to clean up the engine bay, deleted AIV's and EGR. replaced EVERY vacuum and coolant line i could while the motor was out. replaced the timing belt, water pump, and misc things i dont remember. there is about 15k on the jdm motor since i put it in, so 40k on motor total.

AC: in 2003 we spent $1300 on the ac including compressor , dryer, lines, charge, hard wiring fan to engage when compressor turns on, etc, etc. the ac blows COLD!

DRIVETRAIN: the clutch was replaced when we bought it from my friend, it is a JWT street clutch. The transmission was replaced with a used one from Zclinic at about 140K but now its starting to grind in 4th again (reason for replacing it at 140k). my sister says "if you know how to shift it, it wont grind" but it still grinds for me. ive been told if you put redline fluid in there it will stop, but havent tried that yet.

Overall, the car is fantastic for its age and mileage. the paint on it looks better than my Z. we just have too many cars and my dad needs to pay bills so kim is keeping the gas saving bug and getting rid of the Z.
Now is the chance to own a unmolested Z that has all the vitals already taken care of.
im looking to get about $8K for it. i need to get rid of it pretty quick, within the next few weeks. at the end of the week im going to put it on ebay, ive had relative success with selling cars on ebay. but just want to give tt.net people a head start.

PICS are here: [ http://thomas.wartek.com ] under KimZ folder. i took lots of pics, but had to give back the camera to a friend so it will take a while to get more if i have to.

any ?'s please email rx7hvn99@hotmail.com
ive probably forgotten some things but ill remember them.
in the pics there are BOV's and clear corners, i sold those to a friend so it has stock recirs and stock corners.

thanks,
thomas
