Z32 "Solid" Shift Mount
The ZSpeed Solid shift mount replaces the stock rubber mounted shifter mount to rid you of mushy feel and inaccurate shifts in the Z32 platform.
If you have ever had your OE shift mount break loose from it's rubber mount do to age and cracking and start banging on the driveshaft it is a scary thing and makes it almost impossible to drive the car. With the Zspeed solid shift mount, this will never happen again!
The mount greatly increases feel and accuracy in shifting and gives you a VERY solid shifter feel!
NOW INCLUDED WITH MOUNT the Zspeed tunnel boot kit and rid yourself of the crappy OEM boots coming off/tearing and making your cabin noisy.
The Zspeed Shift boot tunnel plate replaces the entire upper stock shift mount and 2 rubber boots on the tunnel and makes installing a snap! No more noise from the stock tunnel boots that come out of place.
The Zspeed "SOLID" shift mounts are available for the Stock shifter, Stock modified shifter (shortened) SilverTwin/Woody, Stillen, C's and the Z1 Premium short shifter at this time.
The ZSpeed Z1 solid mount drops the Z1 shifter approx 3/4"- 1" in total height giving you a better look inside the car
The ZSpeed solid mount for the stock shifter locates the shifter in the stock position.
Depending on your transmission mount style and age you may notice an increase in movement of the shifter over bumps as it is attached directly to the transmission.
The Zspeed tunnel boot kit must be used with the Zspeed Solid mount, It will not work with the stock shifter mount.
