odometer:182500 *Motor is hydro-locked & DOES NOT turn over.
paint color : black
type : coupe
transmission : manual
title status : CLEAN

Will likely need new / complete re-build motor, as we are fairly certain the motor is hydrolocked. My husband drove the car across a road that was covered with water due to a heavy rain storm- NO WATER GOT INTO THE VEHICLE, in fact the water didn't even come up to the bottom of the rim- but due to the car being lowered & having a K&N airfilter & pop-charger- the 'wake' was apparently high enough for water to be sucked up into the air intake.

The car stalled immediately & despite pulling the plugs, draining the fluids, etc. my husband has not been able to get it to turn over since then.

Prior to this event, my Z had been a daily driver and had no other known mechanical issues & the factory recommended routine maintenance schedule was meticulously followed.

I purchased my Z in 1999, and it had 25k miles on it at that time. It currently has approx. 182k. I have been meticulous about strictly following the recommended maintenance schedule and have always run full-synthetic oil and premium fuel.

Given that the car is 20 yrs. old, the interior is in very good condition - definitely better than average. The steering wheel does need to be re-wrapped, but no other major defects.

Regarding the exterior, it has been a daily-driver & has had plenty of exposure to the HOT Louisiana sun for the past 20 years. Thus, it is certainly time for a re-spray. In addition to the normal wear/tear minor cosmetic flaws that you would expect to find on any 20 yr. old daily-driver, there is also a small dent just above the rear bumper on the rear driver's side.

It pains me greatly to have to let my Z go, but now that I have 2 little girls- it's just not practical to keep it. Ideally, I would LOVE to see it go to someone who intends to restore it & put it back on the road.
