Yes this listing is legit and unfortunately not a joke. Reason for sale: There is a family emergency and I need the sale of the car to use the proceeds to help my parents out financially. They are in a really unfortunate financial position and need financial support. They have been there for me from day one and I need to make sure that I can help them the best I can. Background: I originally purchased this 1991 300zx TT in December of 2006 from a twinturbo.net member down in Maryland. I bought it with 73k miles on the clock and with no modifications. The car was never used as a daily driver and never driven during winter months. I am not a smoker nor have let anyone ever smoke inside of it. Since I have owned it, the car was always stored in my garage, never sat in rain or snow, and never even spent a single night outside overnight as my paranoia of it getting stolen would never let me fall asleep. Car is a very clean original TT model with a clean title. Chassis mileage on the odometer currently reads 101k. Modifications: Currently the car is making 640whp/540wtq at 25psi on 93 octane pump gas and methanol injection. Those dyno figures are from a lower reading “heartbreaker” Mustang Dyno which reads lower than the popular Dynojet Dyno by about 13-15%. The car has never been tuned on race fuel or e85 as I just wanted a simple practical pump gas setup. Im sure with those better performing fuels the car will easily make 800+whp. The car is e85 ready if desired to do so. My goal behind the build was to build a high powered car that is streetable and civil enough to drive everyday if desired with little lag. I was successful in doing so as the car is exactly as I hoped it to be as the car is far from a “dyno queen.” As far as driveability goes, other than getting used to the clutch, the car drives like a stock car. The car was professionally built and tuned by a highly reputable New England performance shop, Prime Speed Tuning, that has been building Z cars since they opened in the early 90s. What I have invested from the gathering of these parts, labor, and dyno tuning is more than double that of what I am asking for. Do not feel hesitant in the belief of “Don’t buy another person’s build”. This car is one worth buying as you will be saving tens of thousands compared to if you were to duplicate a similar build. Aside from the cash savings, buying this car will save lots of down time as well. Simply just get in the car and enjoy. The car has not been listed for sale locally or posted on ebay/craiglist. I would like to see it go to a forum member. Hopefully the car will go to someone who will remain on the forum and stay active so I can see how the car is still doing…and for the fact that maybe one I can buy it back! As you can tell, I have nothing to hide about the car and giving her up is not something I wish to be doing. If you are looking for financing, I would reach out to your local credit unions / banks and see if they offer classic car loans or will make an exception to their used car loan policy. If need be I can have the car appraised by a local certified classic car appraiser and provide you a copy to give to your bank documenting to them the value of the collateral. Also do not let distance be an issue preventing you from buying this car if seriously interested.
