Message It really doesn't get any better than this. This setup is built around a DynoJet "Big Wheel" 248X chassis dynamometer. This high-mass drum section is ideal for high power applications as it produces inertial loads that are more inline with what the vehicle experiences when accelerating its own mass down the road. Additionally, with the larger diameter rollers it provides better wheel-roller traction to handle the higher power vehicles. It is an above ground unit with a 14K# 4-post lift which is an ideal configuration as it dual-purposes for a service lift and for the dyno. It also allows quick inspection of the underside of the vehicle pre-dyno to make sure everything is in proper working order before testing.

This setup has all of the bells and whistles that dynojet offers - the latest electronics hardware stack WITH the 4-channel analog input module which allows connectivity for additional sensors. The current configuration uses an AEM wideband oxygen sensor setup, a 0-100psi pressure sensor, and (2) k-type thermocouple inputs, cold junction compensated for accurate measurements.

The PC is an AMD Sempron 2GHz system with 1GB of RAM, a 250GB Hard Disk Drive, Dual CDROM drives. It has also been fitted with a Matrox G450+ Dual Head Video Adapter to run twin displays. The system comes with a 15" secondary display, 19" primary display, and a Samsung 61" DLP monitor attached to the front driver's lift post for easy LARGE viewing of the dynojet software screen. The computer is also fitted with an additional 4 USB port adapter and a dual RS232 DB9 16550 UART serial ports. No more need for having a laptop to tune the car - the secondary monitor can be attached to the rear driver's lift post for easy viewing from the driver's seat and with the wireless keyboard, mouse, and additional serial ports to connect to the engine computer, the dyno machine is also the tuning computer!

The setup comes with everything seen:
DynoJET "Big Wheel" 248X Dynamometer
14K# 4-post lift w/straps
PC, keyboard, mouse
DynoJet Electronics Stack w/4-channel analog input module, control pendant
