Message	As part of the Z1 12 DAYZ of Christmas Sale, we are offering our Haltech Platinum Pro package for the 300ZX for $350 off. We have been working closely with Haltech to provide a plug and play solution for the Z32 that is simply the best option available for a practical price. We've installed, tested, and developed a package that includes everything you need for a reasonable cost. We have been running this Haltech package on 4 of our own Z32s for almost a year, as well as a couple customer cars. The results are simply far above and beyond what is capable with a stock ECU. There are almost no limits to what all you can control and protect. There are some unique features about the package we have developed that are only available through Z1. Our package includes a plug and play wiring harness that we produce in house specifically for the Z32. We have also made a modification to the hardware that allows you to run all the basic sensors you need (IAT, MAP, and dual widebands) without the need to spend several hundred extra dollars on an external input (CAN hub) box. We have also been pushing Haltech to release a new version of the software specifically for the Z32 that includes an extremely useful and user friendly engine protection interface. We were proud to finally receive this last week and have been very pleased with it. This feature alone should be more than enough to convince anyone with a significant investment in their Z32 powerplant to switch over to Haltech. From this interface we can easily set up protections to save your engine from damaging conditions by cutting spark, fuel, or even boost in the event of a wide range of circumstances. We can protect and shut down the engine based on feedback from the dual wideband oxygen sensors, MAP (boost), coolant temperature, detonation, oil pressure, and fuel pressure sensors. The options to monitor and protect don't stop there as we can even use fuel type sensors, coolant pressure sensors, and almost anything you can dream up. Of course the Haltech is also capable of controlling and finely tuning water injection, nitrous, launch control, anti-lag rally, and even boost control. The Haltech allows you to integrate these external systems into part of the engine management so they can be tuned, activated, and even modulated according to maps based on any number of conditions. The possibilities are truly limitless for those that want to pursue them. However for those not looking to complicate matters our basic plug and play package provides everything you need and is still far above and beyond the capabilities of the stock ECU. Haltech's slogan is "cutting edge technology" and that is what you will get. The advancements in technology since the Z32 ECU was produced allow newer cars (like the 370Z) to use feedback from dual wideband sensors, much more accurate processing and interpretation of detonation sensor signals across the entire RPM range, and more. The Haltech unit we are offering for the Z32 updates the management system to today’s technology with these engine saving features while providing enormous additional flexibility and options. Unlike most engine management systems, including AEM, Haltech utilizes a true VE calibration, meaning that injector changes are as simple as inputting the new injector info and the Haltech does the rest. A Z32 with our Haltech package properly tuned and configured will make more power than with a tuned stock ECU and most importantly it will be MUCH safer. This should not be a bold or surprising claim considering the advancements in technology that have been acheived in the last 20+ years.
