- The RPS pressure plate have been resurfaced by clutch specialist, only to remove a .010" deeper wear on smaller diameter half part and didn't have any hard spot before to grind it over. They have coated previous blue painted surface to avoid oxidation and explain the dark grey color. The job cost me $100.00 - A new ACT 6 pucks with sprung hub was used for 3K miles only in 2011 with only 400HP on engine and got only .005" wear from the new thickness of .312" and it was paid $200.00 - the actual condition is like a new one which you'll see on pictures supplied as well as the 50% touch on pressure plate side pads - It is easy and smooth street driving and doesn't have a harsh engagement, just 1500 rpm minimum needed at time of contact, it has never slipped under launch with previous 500HP at engine. - Used thrust bearing and alignment tool is included - Reason for sale, I have bought a Fidenza clutch kit mostly to get the lightweight flywheel that was coming with a similar clutch rated 550 HP which I'm going back to.
I don't need two similar clutch but I'm so confident to use either refurbished RPS/ACT than Fidenza one that I don't care to sell first or second !
