Z1 2.5" Stainless Steel Testpipes are made of full 2.5" diameter polished stainless steel and come complete with gaskets and hardware ready to bolt on to any '90 - '95 Twin Turbo Z32 or Twin Turbo converted Z32 with Downpipes. 1996 models require an aftermarket performance catback exhaust.
This exhaust section resides between the downpipe and cat-back section of the exhaust tract. It eliminates the stock catalytic converters to enhance exhaust gas flow and provide the least possible resistance. This translates into better spool up of the turbos and more power realized from not choking the engine's exhaust stroke. We typically see increases in power of ~20RWHP on stock cars and as much as 50RWHP on heavily modded cars over stock Cats.
These aren't the smaller diameter cheaper testpipes you might have seen on eBay. Our testpipes are welded on both sides of the flanges and ground smooth on the insides for great fitment, strength, and flow.
