The design of these downpipes caters to the dynamics that take place just after the turbine. By seperating the exhaust flow of the turbine from the flow of gases exiting the wastegate, less interference is experienced by the system. This means that more energy is put into spooling up the turbo rather than heating up the exhaust piping after it.
These downpipes dramatically increase spoolup and show increases in power output as well! In addition to this design, we have taken it one step further to include an additional O2 sensor bung on each downpipe for use with wideband oxygen sensors. Pipes are manufactured from 304 Stainless Steel. Fitment is key for exhaust installations and everything bolts up exceptionally well with these pipes. These downpipe sets use a larger diameter pipe for the turbine collector to better match the diameter of the turbine wheel. This improves flow and reduces backpressure after the turbine to enhance performance and spoolup.
