Message 1990 300ZX Z32 TT 2+2 Race Car For Sale, $8K
(I'm listing it at 10k now on Craigslist, but would really prefer a forum member)

I’ve owned this car for 14 years, since it was a simple NA 2+2, and all the way through countless Club Z fun runs, Autocrosses, track days, and finally turning it into a full-on SCCA legal race car and twin turbo conversion. The motor is a HIGH compression turbo motor with a 10.5-1 ratio, and while you can’t run wildly high boost the combination of the NA throttle response and 14psi of boost gives an absolutely fantastic drive through twisty roads or on the track. I've given countless people rides and test drives and they are universally blown away by the power, handling, responsive control and pure fun at driving this car.

After blowing up a stock NA motor with turbos strapped on 4 years ago, we rebuilt it completely with beefy forged internals, but since then the poor girl has done little but sleep in the garage and hit an Autocross or sprint up through the mountains every few months. She literally hasn't been on the track since the rebuild. I've been intending to upgrade to larger injectors and install and an Accusump system to ensure the health of the motor, but somehow life's gotten too busy and I've been meaning to do these things for years now... It’s long past time to I found someone who has the time to take care of and exercise this Fairlady like she deserves. Also this car was featured in Nissan Sport Magazine several times, most especially my series on competing in the Open Track Challenge and a set of Drifting articles, and was also displayed at the SCCA booth at the San Francisco International Auto-Show a couple years ago.

Various pictures, will put up some more in a few days when the rain lets up here:

Now for the inventory...
1990 Nissan 300ZX 2+2 in Midnight Blue with 159K miles on the chassis.
MWS Motorsports built hybrid high-compression TT motor with only a couple thousand miles on it. Weisco 10.5-1 compression forged pistons, Eagle rods, Z31 crank bearings, low mile late model heads ('95 or '96), TT oil pump, OEM manual transmission model turbos, OEM intercoolers, TT fuel pump, TT 370cc injectors, and many many associated plumbing bits. Just dyno'ed at 340HP and 360ft-lbs at the wheels with Cats on, should do nicely higher with test pipes to let it breathe at the top end (see the video above).
Custom hybrid JWT ECU with portions of both the NA and TT ECU program, not custom tuned (more power is undoubtedly there for the tuning)
HKS EVC boost controller with MWS Hard-line kit, running 8psi on pump gas or 14.5psi (limited by fuel injectors) with 100 octane or alcohol injection.
SMC Alcohol Injection system, pumping Isopropyl (rubbing alcohol, which is %70 alc and %30 water)
SCCA spec fuel sample port, SCCA race car log book, front racing tow hook and AMB Wireless Timing & Scoring transmitter

One piece PTI steel lightweight driveshaft
No AC system, all removed

I/O Port Racing camcorder mount
I/O Port Racing panoramic rear view mirror
Stock passenger seat & 4 point belts removable for serious track driving
Autometer 20psi boost gauge
An aftermarket TT front fascia I got off some guy on tt.net (no idea what make it is, but fitment was easy and it looks good, sorry :-P )
Over 300lbs of other 'extraneous' stuff removed (interior and all sorts of little bits and pieces all over...)
APR GT-2 Wing

Other spare bits:
4 quart racing Accusump oil reservoir and associated plumbing hardware, minus tubing.
Set of front Hawk HT-10 racing brake pads (very expensive pads, but very worth it!)

Thanks for reading, Carl
