Message Car was originally an NA and had a TT Conversion performed in
2005 by Z1. It dyno’d at 350hp/375tq when it left Z1. The car
has been my daily driver for the last 10 years but as of the
last few years with getting married, full-time job, and
apartment living, I haven’t had the time or finances to keep it
up.

The chassis has about 324k on it (the new gauge cluster
shows 181k), and that includes the transmission (which still
shifts quite well). The interior is tan suede and could use some
attention. The seats were swapped out with Tan Cloth seats
instead of the stock leather for comfort. There is a worn spot
on the driver’s side door where my elbow would rest.

There is some minor drivers side front fender damage and it
also cracked the fog light housing but I have a new one to
replace it. There is also a dent under the right rear taillight
that has been there since I bought it. The hood has a line on
it from the previous owner having a bra on it. The door and
window moldings are worn or chipped but could easily be
replaced with the KurumaZ kit. The car needs a
fresh paint job and some minor body work to fix the above
issues and some small dings in the doors but the Black Emerald
color is one of the rarest color Z’s made and is a beautiful
color.

I recently had a compression test done, and although most of
the cylinders were good (170psi), the #4 cylinder averaged
65psi. Along with that, I believe the driver’s side turbo to be
blown, although I’m not positive about this and have newer
used stock turbos to replace them anyways. The car also does
not have
midpipes or mufflers. Only the split downpipes and testpipes.

I am asking $4,500(obo) for the car along with all the
parts
listed below which is about $1,800 worth in new
parts.
I was
planning on having a 120k service done and also having the
turbos replaced and the rest of the parts just never got
installed. For someone with some mechanical know how, this
car could be turned around quite easily and cheaply, or it
could be parted out, along with the other parts that I’m selling
with it, and make back more than you paid for it.

I live in Spartanburg, South Carolina and would be willing to
deliver, or possibly ship the car if needed. I also can take any
additional pictures or discuss anything about it. My e-mail
address is: jwinfree@otodevelopment.com and my number is
(864) 923-3496.
