I've decided to part with my 92TT. I've been on this forum for a long time and many of you know me and have seen this car in person. I bought this car from the original owner who was a dentist and only ever drove it to his practice. It was bone stock when I got it, and it is still in terrific condition for being 18 years old. Everything works, the paint is very good and the AC blows cold. Truth be told the car doesn't need much but a good home. The car doesn't see rain, I pretty much only ever drive it to work on the occasional nice day and to a few track events with the Drivers Edge. Mods: Apexi Intake Scott's hardpipes Z1 SMIC intercoolers Nistune ECU (with serial and USB cables for tuning) HKS EVC 6 boost controller SGP built longblock (deleted AIV, EGR, and PRVR) The intake plenum is powdercoated black, and the valvecovers are red Nismo 555 injectors Unorthodox Racing crank pulley HI overdrive water pulley (Bernie's) Ported stock exhaust manifolds JWT Sport 500 turbos SpecialtyZ super split downpipes SpecialtyZ testpipes w/ flex joints & removable cats SpecialtyZ x-pipe w/ resonators SpecialtyZ cat-back RPS segmented flywheel RPS max street clutch Woody's short shifter 1 piece steel driveshaft (Z1) NA rear end conversion (HICAS system completely removed, including a new NA ps pump) Koyo radiator with SpecialtyZ brackets Stillen radiator hardpipe & Samco hoses Suspension Techniques sway bars Stillen tension rods Powertrix adjustable rear camber arms Powertrix adjustable rear toe arms SPL Coilovers (just installed) SPL (made by ARP) extended wheel studs (front and rear) 300 Degree camber correction kit 300 Degree brake master cylinder brace Energy Suspension Polyurethane master bushing kit Defi boost meter with Link v2 Defi Link Display w/ Oil, Fuel and Coolant sensors Philips 4300K HID kit w/ D2S bulbs Optima Yellow top Jspec Tail Lamps Smoked turn signals Powertrix CF fog light ducts Redline leather shift boot, e-brake boot, and console cover Alpine head unit and Polk components (no sub or external amps have ever been installed) Also included with the car are many extras, such as: More service records than you'll ever want to actually go through Original fitted Nissan car cover (yes, I still use it in my garage) A MegaZ color matched 3 piece air guide set (new, never installed) Extra nose panel (from a '90 without the Nissan hamburger), painted to match 1 spare 555 injector (new in box) the original IC's the original headunit and cd player A gift certificate for $150 I won at Z-Con 09 for a ChrisZTT Sub Box (or anything else he sells) A new set of replacement Nissan Z floormats (these can no longer be bought, anywhere...very hard to come by now) 1 spare coilpack and connector 8 quarts of Amsoil 20w50 (it gets hot here in TX) 2 Amsoil oil filters for the Z (yes, I like them better than oem) 6 oem 60U00 oil filters 2 quarts of Amsoil trans fluid (the trans currently has Redline in it) 2 quarts of Amsoil gear oil for the diff (the diff currently has Redline in it) 2 spare power steering dust boots (new, unused) service manual (electronic and the paper book) additional set of clear turn signals spare set of full trim around the radio (I'd considered modifying the original, but didn't) custom t-top bags RameyZ engine sling I even have a spare (yes, a spare) RPS sport street clutch that will go with the car. There is so much here that I'm sure there are things I'm still missing. The mods have roughly 30k miles on them. When the engine was rebuilt by SGP I had all new everything done to it (timing belt, pulleys, lifters, seals, belts, wiring harness, engine cowls, etc). So the engine is still quite fresh and needs no current maintenance. Needless to say it purrs like a kitten.
In an effort to bring the overall price down, I've removed some of the modifications and will offer them for sale separately. I'll make these available to the buyer of the car before offering them up to the Z32 community in the classifieds. These include: Stoptech front 332mm big brake kit in red Stoptech rear 328mm big brake kit in red Selin Dual MAF translator with the elbows and the additional N62 MAF and Apexi filter 350z track wheels by Rays Engineering with nearly new Yokohama tires (2 track sessions) MSP manifolds (new, uninstalled)
The bad: A few nicks in the paint around the door handles. Some have said I should replace the black strip above the tail lights, I actually prefer it as-is. The trim ring around the ignition cylinder is missing Only have 1 key (I think) There is sometimes a drop of oil from the passenger side of the engine after track use. I think this may be from the PCV valve.
Mileage on the car is 135k Miles You will be hard pressed to find a 92TT that is more well cared for than this. The car has a clear Texas title and is current on tags and state inspection.
If you have any questions or comments please feel free to email me. Please no scammers, trades or tire kickers. Price is $12,500. For questions please email me: jeff at z-tech.org
