High Performance Double-Pass Radiator One of the biggest problems with other electric fan setups on the market is the fact they dont have a shroud for the electric fan. Without the shroud, you are limiting the radiator's cooling ability by almost 50%. We have designed our own double-pass radiator and custom fiberglass shroud for use with a 2460CFM 16" electric fan to provide the best available performance for such setup. In addition to these attributes, we have incorporated heat-sinking cooling fins into the endtank design to further improve the cooling efficiency of the radiator. The double-pass design allows for the coolant inlet and outlet pipes to be on the same side of the radiator. This eliminates the "lower hose" as well as the expense of purchasing an aluminum aftermarket lower pipe kit. The OEM radiator hose only needs to be trimmed to fit onto the outlet pipe. With recent advances in upgrade parts for these vehicles it is relatively easy to produce greater than 600RWHP in which case it is required to use a dual fuel pump system. When dual fuel pumps are used, the electrical load required to drive two pumps is greater than what the OE controller is capable of handling and will destroy the OE controller's power transistors. This upgraded fuel pump control module is capable of handling the electrical load twice that of a dual fuel pump setup - an "overbuild" used in this module to spread the load across multiple power transistors to ensure a long service life. Additionally, the controller has user adjustable pump duty cycles - a feature that allows the operator to dial in the output of the pumps in order to prevent regulator over-run: a condition where the fuel pressure regulator is not capable of bypassing enough fuel volume back to the fuel tank resulting in excessive fuel pressures. The controller can be used in either native twinturbo vehicles which incorporate a 3-speed control sequence or in NA-TT conversions which still employ the 2-speed control. A simple jumper allows easy configuration of this parameter. A pushbutton switch is also used to force mid-speed operation to ease the setup process. To display the fuel pump duty, a 10-segment bar LED has been incorporated into the design to simplify the setup and adjustments. A single LED is also mounted to the board and an external LED can be attached for dash-mounting to provide driver feedback. Twin filters can support 1000CFM at 1psi and in a dual intake setup there will be less than 1psi of pressure drop through the filter. This results in significantly improved spoolup response as well as a solid boost in power and torque production.
