I am selling my 300ZX Hybrid. It is a 1992 Slicktop Shell with a 92 VH45DE. I did all of the conversion work myself, and all gauges/accessories function with the exception of the Air Conditioning. This car is a reliable runner, and has been a very fun toy for me over this summer. I am sad to see it go, but a recent change in family situation has forced the sale. Please have confidence in the work completed. I am a mechanical engineer and have experience in design and fabrication, this is NOT a hack job. Modifications are as follows: Engine: 1992 VH45DE, 131k miles, no smoke, uses NO oil. NEW OEM Knock Sensors Phase 2 Rails with Deatschwerks injectors NEW Denso O2 Sensors Metal Timing Chain Guides All emissions deleted Oil Filter Relocated Royal Purple 5W-30 Oil Custom 3.5" Cold Air Intake NGK Iridium Spark Plugs, OEM Heat Range New Front/Rear Main Seals, all other gaskets, hoses, seals new. Custom Howe Radiator, dual core Custom Radiator Surge Tank Custom Overflow Setup Twin 10" Electric Fans, on thermostat, wired to OEM relay. Megan Racing NA Downpipes/Testpipes Specialty Z non-resonated X Pipe TopSpeed Axle-Backs Transmission/Drivetrain: Mazworx VH/VG Trans Adaptor RPS Aluminum TT Flywheel NEW OEM TT Clutch, Pilot, Throwout Bearing Redline MT-90 Fluid Included: OEM 2000 Y33 Rear Differential and OEM TT Speedo Sensor (for converting to 3.69:1 ratio final drive, bolt in conversion, I've switched back and forth a number of times) Car is currently set up with OEM 4.08:1 Rear and NA Speedo Sensor SPL SS Clutch Line, ATE Super Blue Fluid Suspension/Brakes/Running Gear: Powertrix Ultra Lite RACE Coilovers 8k/6k Powertrix Front Upper Control Arms Powertrix Rear Camber Arms Powertrix Rear Toe Arms Powertrix Rear Traction Arms SPL Front Tie Rods SPL Subframe Spacers OEM G50 Q45a Front Swaybar OEM Z32 TT Rear Swaybar OEM Z32 TT Power Steering Rack (Faster Ratio than NA) Custom Steering Plumbing and a Custom PS Cooler Energy Suspension Steering Rack Bushings Alignment set to Autox specs (slight toe out front, slight toe in rear, -2.2* camber all around) REAL Nismo LMGT4 Wheels, 18x8.5F, 18x9.5R Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec Tires, 245/40F, 275/35R H&R Front 15MM Wheel Spacers Z1 Motorsports 13" BBK Front, Xdrilled/Slotted Rotors Brembo Rear XDrilled Slotted Rotors EBC Yellowstuff Pads all around SPL SS Brake Lines, ATE Super Blue Fluid SPL Brake Cooling Ducts Other: Stillen GTZ Front Lip Kenwood Head Unit w/ iPod interface Infiniti Kappa 4.5" F 6.5" R Speakers in Bose Enclosures HID Headlights (Not OEM, this is a bulb conversion) Z1 Floor Mats OEM Tachometer Recalibrated to read properly Good Stuff: The car is in good condition overall. It weighs a tick over 3200lb with no driver, and 3/4 tank of fuel. It runs out very well, and has never given me any issues. There is absolutely NO RUST on this chassis. The chassis/trans has 107k miles on it. The interior is in very good condition, the passenger seat has some stains, but there are no rips/tears on either seat. Bad Stuff: The car has its fair share of dings. If you know a talented paintless dent removal guy, he could make the car look much better. We're talking door dings here, no major dents. I built it as a track toy so I never cared much for the looks. The suspension has some squeaks, which I wasn't able to track down. With the extensive suspension modifications on the car, this is a tradeoff made. In the summer heat (90+ degrees) and when sitting in traffic (5-10min+), the temp gauge will start to creep up. If you put on the heat, it comes back down. I have NEVER seen the gauge go over about 2/3, and when moving, there are no overheating issues at all. The design of the radiator fins is meant for efficiency at speed, not in traffic. On to the pictures: My asking Price is $11,500. I will entertain offers, but please, no low-ballers. Absolutely NO joy rides. I WILL Ship, expect price to be between $600-$1200 depending on your location.
