Selling a clean TT rear diff with Leader Gears (2nd production run!) already installed. Expertly built by Russ Sylvis through Specialty Z. Only 250 miles on the new gears...just broken-in per Richmond Gear's instructions with Richmond synthetic gear oil. The torque improvement of these gears is amazing, and the best part is this diff is ready to install in your car...no downtime of having to order gears, ship your diff off to a shop to have the gears installed, and no 2 way shipping cost...plus you'll still have your differential if you ever want to go back to stock gearing. One mounting stud is new and not threaded in all the way...which is why it sticks out more. Good threads...I just don't have the tool to thread it in. Good mounting bushings too. Will need to be shipped with oil drained out...UPS requirement.
Now the bad news: this diff is noisier than your stock diff. The gears are properly set-up...but most people with Leader 4.10s have some additional gear noise. This diff's noise is mainly between 60 & 75 mph (with corrected speedometer) and can be heard over normal stereo listening volume. If you do a lot of highway driving...this may not be for you. But in town, this will make your TT scat like nothing else! Instant torque ! Also helps solve stalling with a lightweight flywheel when you're trying to get going from a stop & less clutch slippage! A ready-to-roll diff with Leader gears doesn't come up real often in the classifieds. Asking $1100 firm plus $125 shipping by UPS ground to lower 48 states only.
