me at gavin.todes [at] gmail.com.-Gavin ********* I'm selling my 1991 Nissan 300zx. It's a naturally aspirated 2-seater
with about 148,000 miles. It was repainted BMW Sapphire Black #475
(black with color chips in it), and it has a tan tweed interior. The driver's
seat has the normal wear in the left side, but other than that the
interior's in excellent shape for the age. It has upgraded speakers (the
old Bose system has been replaced) and an Alpine 60-W x 4 CD player
with iPod connector. There are some scratches on the front bumper on
the passenger side, but other than that the exterior is in great condition.
The AC is ice cold, the clutch is tight, and the car handles much better
than a stock Z thanks to KYB adjustable struts and the Hankook tires. 
I bought the car from a friend in early 2008, but I've "known" the car
since she bought it a long time ago. Here's a list of some upgrades and
maintenance work done over the past few years, both by myself and by
the previous owner: JWT stainless steel cat back exhaust (used) - December 2008 (144,000
mi)
Shifter bushings - November 2008 (140,000 mi)
Clutch slave cylinder - July 2008 (138,000 mi)
Timing belt & auto-tensioner - June 2008 (137,000 mi)
Hankook tires - March 2008 (135,000) - these are awesome tires and
they still look pretty damn new
KYB AGX adjustable front and rear struts - February 2008 (132,000 mi)
Clutch - February 2008 (132,000 mi)
A/C belt - February 2008 (132,000 mi)
Alternator - February 2008 (132,000 mi)
Refurbished starter - February 2008 (132,000 mi)
Belts (besides timing belt) - August 2007 (120,000 mi)
Radiator - August 2007 (120,000 mi)
Spark plugs - July 2007 (120,000 mi)
Fuel injectors - August 2006 (105,000 mi)
Brakes/Front Calipers - April 2006 (95,000 mi) 
There are a few of issues with the car. The right rear rim was
cracked from driving over potholes on the east coast, and I replaced it
with a non-stock rim that doesn't match. I'm looking to replace the rim
with a stock one prior to selling the car though. The right passenger side
of the front bumper has some scratches/cracks in the paint from when
the previous owner's mom backed up into the Z. Also, there's a power
steering fluid leak - I've been topping off the fluid every 2 or 3 weeks
(using Dexron III ATF that the system's designed for, not actual PS
fluid). Either the high pressure hose or the pump needs repair. Finally,
the starter solenoid may need to be cleaned/rebuilt because occasionally
when starting the car, there's a grinding sound the first 1 or 2 tries and
then it starts fine after that. It's a minor annoyance but doesn't appear
to be anything serious. Other than these two issues, the car runs great! 
The pics were here were taken by the previous owner. They don't show
the JWT exhaust that I installed in Dec 2008, which has one oval tip per
side instead of the 2 smaller round tips that you seen in the pics. They
also don't show the temporary rim that on the right rear side. Other
than that, everything looks pretty much the same. I'll get a pic of the
JWT tips up shortly.
