Message Sad to see this day come, but it's time to sell the Z. I would rather see someone else enjoying her or putting her parts to use than seeing her sit in the driveway and not being driven like she was meant to be. My original plan was to make her into a barely streetable autocross car, starting with a complete strip-down to the frame, sandblast and paint that, and basically start putting her back together from scratch, replacing certain stock parts with aftermarket. I got as far as taking the engine and tranny out and a few other things, but unfortunately, the time and money just aren't there and it's time to sell...

So, onto the specs:

1990 300ZX NA 2+0
manual transmission
leather seats
no interior
non-airbag steering wheel
seatbelts on doors (blue)
manual climate control (that cluster of switches is new too)
stock chrome wheels w/ Sumitomo HTR+ tires
198,361 mi
engine has ~125k mi on it (got transplanted from a car that had 75k on it)
has jack, mini chocks, collapsible spare, and T-top sleeves
midnight blue paint

Special / new parts:

turbo front calipers
Ready Rad replacement radiator
AC converted to r134a (new lines, new seals, overhauled compressor and put in new seals there too, new receiver dryer, new expansion valve, etc.)
Apex'i N1 single muffler exhaust
Suspension Techniques sway bars
SS braided brake and clutch lines
SPL adjustable tension rods
Energy Suspension urethane bushings in FLCAs and diff
Moroso battery box (had it mounted near the rear edge of the package shelf)
new clutch master cylinder
water pipes painted satin black
new stock urethane rear bumper (to replace the fiberglass POS that came on it when I bought it)
Curt Manufacturing Class 1 hitch (never installed)

That's about it. She runs great (when assembled) and even passed enhanced emissions standards back in CA in '04. Shoot me an email with what you want, what you think it's worth, and your zip code, and I'll take some measurements and weights and get you a UPS shipping quote (ground or freight depending on size/weight). Or you can come get it if you're within a reasonable distance.

Thanks,
David
