I am selling an overly pampered 1994 Nissan 300zx Non-Turbo with about 128,500 miles.
The 1994 has two airbags and variable timing. Only 2500 of the 1994 300zx (NA + TT) were built.
In 1996 the VTC was removed, so in my opinion, 1994 and 1995 provides a safe ride for both driver and passenger without losing the extra torque in 1996.
Also, the seat belts were changed such that the pointing point was to the frame and not the door (also safer).The carfax report will confirm that this car had about 100k miles in 2001 and since then, has only been driven 28,500 miles. During this time, the car has always been garaged.
The previous owner installed a clutch at 100k and put a new coat of Onyx black on the car 3 years ago.
The seats have brand new leather and were professionally installed.
I also polished the balance tube and plenum (intake manifold). The highlights of the car are the paint, 4300K xenons, led interior lighting + gauge conversion, new leather seats, a/c is extremely cold, and the moldings (entire car) look great. A half-decent paint job will easily cost $2500+ for the entire car. You will find many 300zx's for $3000-$4500 that need to be painted (and usually have some $1000 mechanical issues), so add $2500 to that cost and you might already surpass what I'm asking. This car is ready to go for another 60,000 miles after having spent $2500+ in parts alone. I have all of the receipts from Concept Z Performance ([ www.czp.us ]) as proof.
I am not strapped for cash and would rather just keep the car than lose a bunch of money in selling it, so you will ultimately waste your own time sending me low-ball offers.
I really enjoyed restoring this car back to perfection and would like to do the exact same to a twin-turbo in need of some TLC.
