I have a pair of test pipes I reworked with high flow cats from Flow Monster that have metallic substrate and I also incorporated 9" stainless steel flex couplings to reduce torque on the turbo housings/manifolds/downpipes. I built these a year ago when I was convienced that I needed cats for back pressure to keep the turbo seals seated. Well I later learned I had bad seals and since replaced the turbos. Being from a state with no emission testing I went back to cat-less testpipes. I thought maybe someone might find them useful. The total setup has less than 500 miles on them. [ The test pipes are the 2.3" ID stainless steel testpipes you see everywere they cost me $100 with shipping
The cats are Flowmonster with the metalic substrate for high horsepower applications. I paid about $200 with shipping [ http://www.dependonauto.com/metallicsubstrateconverter.aspx ] You can see from the pic below they fit perfectly under the heat shield...these are not the same testpipes I am selling but the exact same setup except with much better welds as you can see in the pics at the top of the post... Lastly the stainless flex couplers I bought from a local muffler shop for $175 they are triple ply stainless steel for extreme heavy duty applications.
As you can see I have about $475 invested not counting labor, which was quite a bit. I am hoping to get $225 plus shipping. I will get shipping quotes for serious potential buyers. Feel free to make offers but low ballers will be ignored.
