1991 300ZX Twin Turbo 207k on the clock Had 198k when I bought it about 2 years ago, it’s spent most of it’s time on jack stands, I blew a seal in one turbo, while replacing the turbo’s I went ahead and swapped in a “low miles” JDM engine that engine now has a knock, the current engine has a new Nissan oil pan, new PCV’s, new Nissan oil pump, new aftermarket water pump, new Nissan pulley’s tensioner, timing belt, cam and crank seals, it dyno’d 278 whp recently at stock boost with stock ecu, If you carfax the vin it was in a front end collision in FL years ago, it was no repaired properly, I spent $500 having the frame straightened at Preferred automotive on fern valley when the engine was out
mods: Megan Downpipes and testpipes, HKS Hi-Power exahaust, UA underdrive pulley, K&N Cone air filter, Jun 11 lb steel one piece flywheel, Competition clutches stage 2 clutch, one piece driveshaft, Stillen front and rear sway bars, urethane TC rod bushings, Ziegan 17x8’s and 17x9’s wearing falken azenis 615 rubber known issues: the aforementioned knocking engine, the electronic suspension control does not work? Hatch struts need replaced they work when they feel like it, there si a driveline vibration, I think it’s the aftermarket driveshaft, I replaced the stock trans mount and it still vibrates, might need diff mounts or the shaft balanced or just swap the 2 piece back in Recent work: since getting it I replaced the front and rear shocks with new OE struts, and the rears I believe came with new springs as well, new NAPA disks all around with OE pads, the aforementioned frame work, replaced the High pressure PS hose as well as the high pressure HICAS hose, new A/C compressor, condenser, and receiver dryer, converted to R134A and blows cold, Kenwood WMA MP3 CD with kenwood coaxials in all 4 corners, I removed the AIV’s EGR and exteraneous plumbing beneath the plenum, it now takes half an hour to change injectors, new OE battery cables, new aftermarket battery, new OE trans mount, new OE shifter boot, new OE shifter bushings, New OE Fuel pump, Replaced the Fuel Pump Control Module Spares: with this package you get the good stock motor, it Dyno’d 240whp in the stock engine with stock everything about a year ago (I have dyno sheets), I have a JWT ECU ship and socket I never got around to installing, new aftermarket fenders, nearly perfect aluminum hood, complete set of stock TT staggered wheels (clear is pealing and I started striping one of the wheels to be repainted), stock TT sway bars, and whatever other Z32 pieces I have laying around, spare set of injectors, spare coil packs (actually I think I have 8 of these), spare PTU, stock 2 piece driveshaft that needs a carrier bearing (yeah surprise) All for the low low price of just $6500, might sound like a lot but you get a mess of spares and everthing needed to put this thing back together and make some serous power, and I have a tandem axle trailer and will happily deliver the car and parts within the greater Louisville area, you’ll need a lift to get the engine out of my truck evildky@bellsouth.net
