1992 300ZX Twin Turbo. 5 Speed. Pearl White. 77K original miles. Super super clean everywhere inside and out. Have all 3 original keys(Titanium, Black, and Red Valet). Original owners manual. Car cover. T-Top covers. T-Top shades.
Purchased car in 2001 with 37K original miles for $25000. It had been parked in a garage for 6 years. Fortunately the owner knew about long term storage. Then in 2002, I moved 130 miles away from work and within only a year put 25K miles on it. Then in late 2003, I parked it to begin a restoration that I thought would only take only a few month but instead took 2 years.
Interior: New leather interior(2008). Overall interior mint enough to be called new.
Drivetrain:
All water hoses, boost hoses, vacuum lines, fuel lines, EFI engine harness, and belts have all been recently replaced. None of the original rubber in the engine bay remains. It's all new. Even the water lines underneath the plenum have been replaced. All done in 2005.
Fuel injectors and entire fuel system has all been replaced with 95+ Twin Turbo spec system. All done in 2005. This is critical if you live in a state like California which blends up to 10% ethanol with gasoline. If you look on twinturbo.net, you'll see reports from owners that 1990 to 1994 cars with the older pintle style injectors are failing left and right due to ethanol. The 95+ injectors don't have the mechanical plunger or other moving parts and tend to last forever. Plus they were engineered for todays fuel. If you buy a 90-94 Z that has not had the fuel system conversion, then you'll have to replace your injectors frequently.
Recent timing belt, water pump, timing belt idlers, tensioner, spark plugs, seals. All done in 2005.
All fluids were changed at 37K miles and again at 62K miles(2005). Brake fluid including ABS module flushed with Mobil 1 synthetic brake fluid(2006). Transmission and rear diff both changed out with Redline(at 37K and again at 62K). Power steering fluid changed with Redline. Engine oil always Mobil 1 or Castrol Syntec. Engine coolant. (All done at 37K and again at 62K). Engine compression is 150 to 155 psi on all cylinders. This is optimal for TTs.
Nearly new Bridgestone Potenenza S03 on all 4 wheels.
Modifications:
Sport500 turbos. NISMO 615cc injectors. Leader 4.10 gears(these gears were made specifically for the TT and are the only way to get shorter gearing while retaining HICAS 4 wheel steering. This gears offset the larger wheel diameter. GD Super Split Downpipes. Specialty-Z high flow cats with O2 bungs. Borla SS exhuast. JWT Single POP. JWT ECU. Stillen intercoolers. UD Pulley. RPS segmented flywheel.
RPS Street Sport clutch. Profec-B with remote. Blitz dual turbo timer. Suspension and wheels: BBS RSII 18x8 and 18x10. Stillen heavy duty sway bars. Stillen tension rods. Stillen short throw shifter. Brass shifter bushings. Sound:
MB Quart RKC 116 6.5" front and back. 1990 6.5" rear speaker housing retrofit. Phoenix Gold TI 500.4 Titanium. 500 Watts RMS Class A. Bazooka 300 watt subwoofer.
5000K HID plug and play conversion. Can restore 9006's if desired. Car makes 411 RWHP (495 FWHP) on 91 Octane at 16 PSI. That's nearly 500 hp at the crank. This is a nice safe tune that is well under detonation limits even on hot summer days.
The modifications are all carefully chosen to create a balanced daily driver with 400+ WHP. Keep in mind that a stock LS6 based Z06 only puts out about 340 HP to to the wheels.

http://alana.smugmug.com/gallery/338212_dNveH/1/48554726_TpEou Reason for selling: simply put, my commute is 260 miles round trip and 25 MPG is no longer cutting it. I only drive it work once a month, but even at that, the miles are adding up quickly. I've been playing the fuel economy game and have manage to eek out 27 MPG provided that I drive 63 MPH. If I'm going to drive my car like a moped, then it had better get at least 50 MPG. So it's time for a Prius.
Price is $17K. I have over $35K invested.
I will also consider a trade for a Prius.
Serious inquiries only. I'm looking to sell it to someone who truly appreciates how rare and classic this vehicle is and understands the true value.
