I know I own a 1993 but I just scored a '94-'96 newer style slave CD player so I also now need the newer style head unit for it to plug into.
The '90-'93 units all use a 5-pin DIN plug to connect the CD slave to the back of the Bose radio/cassette unit. These Bose head units were made by Clarion and the single disc CD slaves for them were made by Sony.
The '94-'96 single disc CD slaves were made by Panasonic and I've *read" that they use with a 7 or an 8 pin DIN connector meaning I need a matching head unit.
I'm looking to buy a PERFECT MINT CONDITION only '94-'96 Bose Radio/Cassette head unit. By perfect I simply mean 100% functional with 0-2% amount of wear on the front of the unit. ALL lettering and everything should look brand new. Tiny minor little surface swirls on the plastic lens of the LED readout for the station readout is acceptable since all units will have this unless they are still new in the box.
Please email me - alexclaytor@gmail.com - with your asking price and pictures if possible. Honestly, I might buy a head unit with a little bit of wear now and a mint one later just so I can have some tunes in the mean time.
Thanks!
