Not a single washer/bolt/part from a what-the-hell-is-the-history-and-will-it-explode-tomorrow JDM source. All USDM with documented history. Only a handful of these in the country. Pay for NA insurance, but pull away from a C5 Corvette. First, the reason it is even up for sale... I have 4 z32 projects right now, one of my babies has to go. I have owned 7 z32's, and know them inside and out. I have completed this Slicktop TT project and need to address some other ones that I have neglected. The donor was a MINT 1993 Twin Turbo that went sideways into a pole, damaging the driver's door. It had 69k mi (see odo pic). It was stone cold bone stock. OEM intake/ECU/suspension etc. Stock boost. Timing belt was done by Nissan at 62k mi. Turbos were evaluated and were perfect, ZERO shaft play. Zero smoke. Looked like it was garaged and babied. It was gorgeous even AFTER the accident (pics below). It was not cheap, but I wanted the build to be done right. I will even include the Title from the donor TT, the chassis has since gone out to green pastures. DONOR:

The slicktop is a 1991. Clean title/CarFax. Took me a while to find a clean one. The chassis has 155k on it, but the suspension was all upgraded during the build, and it obviously has a 69kmi TT drivetrain. Not a spot of rust on it. Paint is 8/10, a few dings and small areas of clear coat peeling on the roof. It is tight and handles incredibly. You definitely can tell it is lighter than a typical 2+0. I kept the NA rear end. No heavy HICAS crap here. Interior is nice, about an 8/10 also. All systems work. A/C was swapped, blows nice and cold.
Along with the TT swap came: Titanium key BRAND NEW ENGINE HARNESS INSTALLED 4/29/2007 NEW OPTIMA RED-TOP 4/2007 NEW CLUTCH SLAVE 5/2007 Brake calipers rebuilt 4/2006 Alpine stereo Stillen urethane front fascia Battery relocated to hatch. AshSpec ECU with "mild" tune (I run 13.5 PSI) JWT intake Megan Racing DPs/TPs Stillen cat-back KYB AGX adjustables Eibach Pro-Kit Springs front camber adjustment kit Greddy Profec B Spec II boost controller Greddy boost gauge on A-Pillar SilverTwin short shifter drilled/slotted Brembo rotors Hawk brake pads 1-piece driveshaft Cobra wheels, 17x9" all around TT air conditioning swapped over TT fuel pump I only run Mobil-1 and Redline fluids. I ditched the heavy leather power seats for the non-power (read:LIGHT) tweeds. I kept the tweed door panels for continuity with the seats, they are in awesome shape. The rest of the interior was converted to charcoal suede. Rear hatch got BRAND NEW Nissan-dealership-sourced trim panels and carpet just prior to my purchase of the slicktop.

the peeling clear coat on the hatch along the roof trim. only a couple inches long, but i want to point out the imperfections. driver's side has a similar small area:
Sittin' amongst the kings @ 2006 ZDayz:
Killboy shot at 2006 ZDayz:
The car goes like crazy, and idles like a Camry. I have put about 2500 trouble-free miles on it since the swap. I have only had it in rain ONCE, when I was at the 2006 ZDayz @ the Tail. Always in heated garage, stored winters. Never beaten on, never close to redline. Shifts perfectly, never have had a shift grind EVER. Ready for a 2000 mile trip, I have had it to ZDayz, just had it down at the Indy meet. The front fascia and nose piece look better than they did in the pics, they were temporarily sprayed before installing them so I could road test the car following the swap. Hate to sell, but I honestly don't have the room for it with all of my z32 projects and I promised my wife a garage space this winter...will definitely regret letting it go. Make an offer, let me know if you need anymore information. -Dave
