Message INTRODUCING ALL NEW 1pc POWERTRIX STRUT TOWER BARS

All New POWERTRIX front and rear strut tower bars feature a robust 1piece racing inspired design. This design eliminates any swivel or rotation of bolt points on a conventional 3 piece bar and increases its ability to prevent chassis flex. Constructed on light weight aircraft grade aluminum and precision TIG welds, the bars weight a mere 1.98 Front bar – 2.30 lbs. Rear bar

The front bar features a dual bulk head design that spans the brace to increase rigidity and remain light weight with dimensions to allow clearance with in the engine bay. Cut outs for routing the fuel lines and throttle cable make for a clean and integrated install. (Note: the throttle cable cover will not fit with the front strut tower bar due to its low profile. Modification to the throttle cable cover is needed if desired to keep it on the plenum) Grade 10 hardware nuts and spacer washer is included for install.

The rear bar uses a 1 ½” in diameter “beefy” roll bar inspired tubing for maximum chassis support. (This helps tremendously with high HP cars in getting the power down evenly especially on aggressive or drag launches)

Target Retail Price is $199.95 per bar. Introductory Price is $179.95 + shipping or $350.00 shipped for both.

Front Strut Bar installed on TT

Rear Strut Bar installed on TT or NA Coupe
All coupe installs are an easy bolt on after the interior panels are removed.

Rear Strut Bar installed on 2+2

Unfortunately our test 2+2 car has some rear suspension damage prior to the install which could have tweaked the mounting points so there were some minor modifications to the rear bar to make it fit. We had to open up the bolt holes on the strut bar and un-bolt the top of the strut mounts and lift (via floor jack on the differential) the car up so the strut mount studs would drop down just enough to mount the bar in place. I am not sure if all 2+2s will require this method of install and bar modification as it could be due to the previous rear suspension damage sustained to our test vehicle.
