Very little shaft play (<2mm) and they spin freely with no chips in the blades. The turbos are excellent for someone ordering upgraded turbos and doesn't want to have any down time/core charge as these could be used for that. also they were in working condition when taken off a crashed TT Z so they can be used in your car also. Price $25+ shipping I also have stock mid pipes for a NA, they passed inspection while on my car so if you have fried your cat’s these are a deal for you. Straight from my 93’ NA they have working cats and AIV piping. Pipes have ~120K miles on them but very structurally sound.
