Message Z1 Motorsports Twin-Turbo Conversion Packages

The NA to TT conversion has been a Z1 specialty for a few years now. Our experience and vast parts resources have made us the choice for NA owners from all corners of the country. No wonder why, considering all of our conversions leave in excess of 400 reliable horsepower at very attractive prices. Other conversions leave Z1 with a much as 700 reliable horespower. We keep enough parts in stock to complete several conversions at any given time. Equipped with a dyno-jet chassis dyno we stand behind the fact that our work will perform as promised. When we sell a 500 rwhp conversion, we know you expect to see a dyno chart to prove it. We can arrange affordable transport from anywhere in the country, all we need is your address and your car can be on the way to Z1.

Given a 5 speed non turbo 300zx, our NA to TT conversion base package price includes all necessary used parts, labor, and our required maintenence and performance package. Used parts include a carefully tested and gauranteed low mileage TT engine and turbos complete with all accessories, all necessary intake, turbo, intercooler plumbing, intercoolers, radiator, AC Condensor and lines, pws line, flywheel, and much more.

The required Z1 maintainence and performance Package includes:

You get a reliable 400 hp TT with almost all maintaince taken care of.
All this along with the fact that you still have the NA rear differential with the higher 4.08 gear ratio makes for a very fast car, without the HICAS system that so many TT owners have to spend money to get rid of! So our answer to the common question "Does it make sense to convert your NA to a TT?" is .... YES!

Performance air intakes and catback exhausts are available through Z1 and strongly recommended with our base package but not included because they are often already installed on customers NAs, and both are compatible with the TT conversion.

TT front facia is not included considering many customers already have aftermarket pieces. Used OEM TT facias, ’99 JDM facias, aftermarket facias from Stillen and Wings West all in stock at great prices.

A new RPS sport street clutch is also recommended for the basic TT 5sp conversion for $375. It's not included in package because some conversions have automatic transmissions.

We reuse the 5sp transmission from the NA unless there is a problem and the customer requests a good used or a new one. The 5sp transmisions are internally the same.

The TT automatic transmissions are larger and stronger that thier NA counterparts. If converting an auto NA to an auto TT we insist on using the auto TT trans, which also means you need a driveshaft also, because your NA one won't fit with the TT transmission.

Add $1000 for an NA Auto conversion to TT Auto with a used Auto TT transmission, control unit, flexplate, and new Z1 1-piece driveshaft.

Add $2000 for an NA Auto conversion to TT Auto with a fresh and stronger than stock, rebuilt and upgraded Auto TT transmission including control unit, flexplate, and a new Z1 1-piece driveshaft.

If you have an automatic NA and want a 5sp TT, no problem!

Add $2500 for an NA Auto Conversion to TT 5sp with a used 5sp trans, resurfaced stock flywheel, pedals, hydraulics, shift linkage, new RPS clutch, and much more

Add $4000 for an NA Auto Conversion to TT 5sp with a new Nissan redesigned 97+ spec 5sp transmission including resurfaced stock flywheel, pedals, hydraulics, shift linkage, new RPS clutch, and much more


Optional performance packages to take you to the next level are outlined below, but if you've decided on the base package there are still plenty of upgrades that you can have installed for little or no extra labor that will produce noticable results, some for little extra cost.

If its the base package you want. but your more interested in new parts rather than the used parts provided, no problem:
-New stock turbos with lines and gaskets add $1450 installed
-Completely rebuilt stock TT engine with new turbos add $4500 installed
-New 97+ spec TT 5sp transmission add $1850 installed
-New EFI enine wiring harness $450 installed

If your interested in an engine bay that turns heads. we suggest one of our chrome upper intake plenums and a set of our chrome intake hardpipes with you choice of colored silicone couplers for a shocking results.

Optional Performance Packages

It's the perfect time to save money on labor and go ahead with some more upgrades. There are several advantages to our optional performance packages. They all take you to the upper echelon in street car performance. Even the 525 package can have you leaving Viper and Z06 owners with an empty feeling inside. Not only do they result in substantial gains in output, but the components included are fresh new pieces replacing the used components in the base conversion package. Our packages are tried, proven, and contain everything necessary to reach a desired level. Other upgrades on top of these packages are no problem and can even be suggested.
Pricing on the optional performance packages is in addition to the base prices above.

Pricing example:
You bring an NA Automatic 300zx to Z1 in running and driving condition and request a TT 5sp with a used transmission with the 575 performance package. Your price would be:

$7850(basic used parts and labor and required M&P package)+$2500(5sp conversion)+ $6000(575 performance package)=$16,350

Yes it is a lot of money, but for a properly assembled, reliable 600 hp street car it is quite a value.
