- Black Emerald (Dark Green) Exterior / Tan Leather Interior - 5-speed Transmission (RPS Clutch & Z1 aluminum 1-piece driveshaft within past 30K miles) - Car has 173K miles, but top half of engine was rebuilt at approx 130K by Z1 Motorsports - Redline synthetic oils in transmission and differential. - Replaced tension rods - urethane bushings - Shocks at 140K - New Radiator at 130K - Fuel pump replaced at 167K - Matched BF Goodrich g-force Z rated tires – approx 40% remaining - Ice cold A/C - New battery - EVERYTHING worksThis is a very clean 1994 non-turbo. I purchased this car back in 2002, and it has been a very reliable daily driver ever since. Mechanical: The engine is completely stock with the exception of the K&N air filter. Near the 130k miles, I had the major 60K service performed. However, shortly after the service was performed, the entire top half of the engine was rebuilt due to a malfunctioning timing belt tensioner. The work was performed at Z1 Motorsports, and the car has run like new ever since. I’ve owned a 1990+ model Z for the past 10 years, and I’m fairly familiar with the car. Mechanically, I would feel comfortable driving this car across the country at a moment’s notice. Cosmetics: The exterior of the car is in very good shape. The color is unique since Black Emerald was only available on the 1994 models. About 2 years ago, the car was hit in a parking garage. While impact was between 5-10 mph, it was enough to damage the driver’s headlight, driver’s fender, and front bumper cover. The car was repainted from the doors forward, but the individual I had repaint the car has over 20 years experience in body & paint work, and it shows! The tan interior is in great shape. Recently the driver’s seat developed a few small tear in the bolster / thigh area, and I placed a patch over them. Other than that, the passenger seat and the rest of the interior are in excellent condition. I even have the cargo shade and T-top sun shades. Shortly after I purchased the car the stock Bose system began giving me problems, so I replaced the head unit with an aftermarket CD player and upgraded to Infinity speakers. Even the power antenna works. I recently purchased an Infiniti Q45, and there’s not enough room in my garage for both. I’m asking $6750 for the car. I’m located near Charleston, SC, and have a clear title in hand. If you have any question, or would like pictures, please contact me at akolaski@cat.com or call me 843-568-1525.
