From now till May 20th, I will be holding the group buy for the headlight inserts. Orders will be shipped in the order they were recieved. The inserts were modeled after OEM ones I removed from a set of 99' Xenon headlights. They are made from hand laid fiberglass, and are only a 1/16" thicker than the real ones are. They still fit great, just like the OEM ones do. During test fitting, there were no issues with having the beam pattern affected, based on the idea that these are coming out of RHD headlights. It is the way the bulbs are angled that directs the light pattern. I think if you toss a HID kit (~225$) in the mix you would have a great headlight conversion. Instructions for headlight dissassembly will be provided as well. These will need to be painted your choice of color, or just leave the black gelcoat for your finish. I think painting the same color as the car would look great, or even a darker silver color. As for the chroming process, this company [ www.muellercorp.com ] does a great job at vaccuum metalizing plastic parts, form what pics Ive seen, and also heard. I was quoted 158$ shipped for them to do my set in smoked chrome with a 2 week turnaround time, regular chrome might be cheaper even.Payment can be made by Paypal or Money Order. Paypal address is Turbocharged300z@aol.com or if you want to send a MO, please email me. The special pricing will be $150.00 shipped with tracking and insurance.
