My hood squeaks when I go over bumps, how do I stop this?

The hood latch squeaking is a common problem. The rubber stops the hood sits on are adjustable. Give them a turn or two so that they sit a little higher. This should fix the squeak. I had the same problem, but my hood stops kept resetting to their original position. I went to the dealer and got a couple new ones for less than $10.

The hood latch can produce that annoying sound. Little bit of lithium grease fixed it for me.
